ACQUITTAL OF MURDER CHARGE AGAINST NOVAKOVICH
In June 2015 Andrew Williams was briefed as Junior Counsel to Marie Shaw QC by Mangan Ey and Associates to represent Nikola Novakovich, charged with murder of Karen Williams in Coober Pedy in 1990.
The historical nature of this complex, high profile case involved intensive forensic investigation.
This first class legal team including Leesah Randall as solicitor, conducted the trial over almost twelve months and resulted in the acquittal of Nikola Novakovich on 18 August 2016.
